On January 21st 2024 Olivia Cuttill released her new album ’The Whole Damn Plan.’ ‘The Whole Damn Plan,’ is the brainchild of Olivia’s love for story telling, not only with her lyrics but her trumpet playing. A collection of thoughts, feelings and anecdotes come together to create memorable and impactful music. The sounds of jazz, blues, and all things groove fuses these stories together, and has something for any listener. Olivia's approach to composition and improvisation are one in the same, gleaming with conviction, captivation and character. Playing alongside her exciting band members, Issey Chivers on Vocals, Tom Harris on Piano, Fergus Quill on Bass and Miles Pillinger on Drums. The Olivia Cuttill Cuttill Quintet toured the Whole Damn Plan around the UK in Jan/Feb of 2024, but continue to play songs from this work today.
TV LICENSE MAN
Olivia Cuttill Quintet release their single, TV License Man, in September 2024. A quirky story of silver linings, and the reality of working class creatives and what happens when the TV License Man shows up, unexpectedly... TV License Man is an electric samba, featuring Olivia Cuttill on trumpet, Issey Chivers on Vocals, Tom Harris on Keyboard, Fergus Quill on Electric Bass and Miles Pillinger on drums. With backing vocal guests, Lawrence Hiller and Graham Cuttill. Recorded bu Samuel Newham, engineered by Ben Macdonald, mastered by Chris Sharkey and composed/produced by Olivia Cuttill.
